§ 7. Eligibility.

(a)

No person who is not at the same time an elector of the town shall be eligible either for the position of an elective official of the town specified in section 4 above, or for the position of a nonsalaried appointive official of the town defined in section 6 above. The office of any such official shall become vacant when any such official ceases to be an elector of the town.

(b)

No person may at the same time hold more than one of the offices defined in sections 4 and 6 hereof, except as expressly permitted in other sections of the Charter or the Code of Ordinances or as provided by state law or where any additional office is advisory as authorized by section 18 hereof.
